Vamsi Ballepu graduated from the Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Hyderabad. Following his graduation, he gained professional experience at renowned firms in Bangalore and Hyderabad, namely Inform Architects and Aparna Karve. He subsequently pursued a postgraduate degree in Management from the National Institute of Construction Management & Research. As one of the best students from his batch, he had the opportunity to work in Sri Lanka for a couple of years.

He earned extensive experience in Sri Lanka, contributing to award-winning, large-scale hospitality projects such as the Wild Coast Tented Lodge and Ceylon Tea Trails for Resplendent Ceylon boutique resorts, before venturing into his own practice.
