TEVA is an integrated architecture practice that brings together architecture, interiors, and landscape as a continuous and inseparable process. The name Teva, meaning nature, guides how we think, design, and build. We see architecture as something that grows from its surroundings shaped by climate, light, materials, and landscape rather than imposed on a site. Each project begins with careful observation, allowing design decisions to emerge from context.
Our work is rooted in simplicity, material honesty, and clarity of structure. We believe architecture gains meaning through use and time rather than spectacle. By integrating interior spaces with the landscape beyond, we create environments that feel intuitive, grounded, and connected to everyday life.
Founded in 2022 by Vamsi Ballepu and Tejaswi Poludasu, the practice reflects a convergence of complementary experiences. Both pursued their bachelor’s degree in architecture from JNAFAU, after which their paths expanded in distinct yet aligned directions.
Vamsi went on to pursue a master’s degree in Advanced Construction Management at NICMAR, focusing on execution and large-scale project delivery. He later gained international exposure in Sri Lanka, working on award-winning hospitality projects. His experience with boutique resorts refined his understanding of construction precision, material longevity, and architecture integrated with natural landscapes. He has also worked independently on several architectural and interior projects across varied scales.
Tejaswi pursued postgraduate studies in Environmental and Urban Planning at the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA). Her experience spans architectural studios, master planning projects, and global real estate firms such as Cushman & Wakefield and JLL, where she worked in research and strategy, developing a strong understanding of urban systems, environmental frameworks, and market dynamics. Their journey evolved into a life and professional partnership rooted in shared values and complementary strengths. Teva Architects was established with a vision for context-sensitive, nature-connected design.
