Conceived as a celebration of Hyderabad’s architectural heritage, Palace Heights marks the brand’s new location within a mall, reinterpreting its signature Mughal palace aesthetic through a contemporary lens. This restaurant in Hyderabad translates traditional grandeur into a layered, experience-driven interior. The design balances the client’s legacy of comfort with a modern material palette, resulting in a space that is both visually rich and functionally resolved.
The brief called for preserving the original essence of Palace Heights, rooted in traditional palace design, while introducing a fresh, modern wave of expression. The client, who has been in the hospitality industry since the early 1990s, prioritised comfort over ornate formality. This guided decisions around seating, material durability, and spatial flow, ensuring that the design remained welcoming and practical without compromising on character. The brand’s elephant logo and the visual language of Hyderabad’s historic monuments became recurring motifs throughout the interior.
