Co-Founder and Architect
Tejaswi Poludasu is the Co-Founder and Architect at TEVA Architects. Her work is driven by a fascination for spatial storytelling, contextual design, and the relationship between architecture, interiors, landscape, and human experience. Drawing from architecture, planning, environmental research, and real estate strategy, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective that balances creativity with research and strategic thinking.
She completed her Bachelor of Architecture at Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU) before beginning her professional journey with an architectural practice in Hyderabad. She later pursued a Master’s in Planning with a specialisation in Environmental Planning and Management at the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Vijayawada. Her postgraduate research on the assessment and management of the Puducherry mangrove ecosystem was subsequently shared with the Government of Puducherry to support the conservation and restoration of mangroves in the region. During this period, she also contributed to environmental planning initiatives in Puducherry, deepening her understanding of ecological systems, landscape restoration, and sustainable development.
Her professional journey then expanded through multidisciplinary planning and infrastructure consultancies, where she contributed to regional and master planning initiatives, including the Perspective Plan, Master Plan, and Zonal Development Plans for the Godavari Urban Development Region (GUDA). She also worked on planning and environmental projects within the Amaravati Capital Region, encompassing eco-resort developments, detailed project reports (DPRs), environmental impact assessments, infrastructure planning, feasibility studies, and climate-responsive development strategies. These experiences established a strong foundation in master planning, urban systems, environmental planning, and sustainable large-scale development.
She later spent over five years with leading International Property Consultancies (IPCs), including Cushman & Wakefield and JLL, specialising in real estate research, strategy, analytics, and consulting. Working across Hyderabad, India, and the Asia-Pacific region, she developed expertise in market intelligence, feasibility studies, development strategy, urban growth trends, and data-driven decision-making. This experience provided valuable insight into market dynamics, investment strategies, and the commercial realities shaping the built environment, complementing her background in architecture and planning while bringing a strategic perspective to design.
This breadth of experience continues to shape her approach at TEVA Architects, where she leads the studio’s interior design, landscape design, client strategy, research, and design communication. Her multidisciplinary background enables her to bridge architecture, planning, environmental thinking, and market strategy, creating spaces that are experiential, contextually grounded, and deeply connected to people and place.
